Online enrollment for the 2015-16 school year begins July 15, 2015
In-person enrollment is July 30 –  31 and
August 3  – 4

First day of school - Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015
Half-day orientation for 6th and 9th grade students - Aug. 17, 2015

Online enrollment for 2015-16 begins July 15!!!

Returning parents with an active ParentVUE account will be able to update information, complete standard enrollment forms, approve policies, complete waivers, pay for enrollment fees and school meals, and fill out free and reduced price lunch forms from a computer. Parents are encouraged to use this service in order to streamline the enrollment process. Click here to begin the online enrollment process on ParentVUE. Go to the WPSenroll tab on the top right of the screen to begin enrollment. For more information, see the Parents Guide to Online Enrollment links on the right. New this year: Online enrollment is available in Spanish. Click on the Español button on the top right of the screen to see Spanish versions of all forms. Nuevo este año: la matrícula en línea está disponible en español. Haga un clic en el botón Español localizado en la parte superior derecha de la pantalla para ver las versiones en español de todos los formularios. 

Parents without a ParentVUE account can set one up or receive a new activation key at their child's school during the week of in-person enrollment.

Proof of Address – When you come to school to enroll, please bring something that verifies your home address. This could include a rental receipt, lease agreement, gas/electric bill or a mortgage payment stub. At the high school level, proof of address may only be presented in the form of a utility bill.
Student Insurance – Wichita Public Schools does not provide accident insurance for sports and non-sports activities. Wichita Public Schools does provide Accident Insurance that will cover your child/student for normal school activities, or for twenty-four (24) hours a day, for one year. IN PERSON ENROLLMENT IS JULY 30 - 31 AND AUGUST 3 - 4, 2015

The Wichita Public Schools will have consistent enrollment times at all schools to make it more convenient for parents who enroll multiple children at different schools. The enrollment times are:
  • Thursday, July 30: Noon - 7 p.m.
  • Friday, July 31: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • Monday, August 3: Noon - 7 p.m.
  • Tuesday, August 4: Noon - 7 p.m.
No computer or need help? All schools will have computers and assistance available during enrollment. These computers will be available for parents to fill out enrollment forms online.
ParentVUE Reference Guide and Access Request Form
 ParentVUE Access Request Form
Parents will need a ParentVUE account in order to access the ParentVUE online portal. Parents are required to complete and sign the ParentVUE Access Request Form to take to their school. Once the ParentVUE account has been created, parents will receive a ParentVUE Activation Key Letter, and a copy of the ParentVUE Portal Quick Reference Guide. Parents will use the information in the letter to access the ParentVUE Portal for the first time, and to setup their username and password.
